Choosing an ethical volunteer company is crucial - not just for you, but for the people and places you're trying to help. On your career break, you want to be sure that the money you spend is going to the right place, and that you'll get a fulfilling experience too.
The Career Break Site operates an approval scheme (we're the only company in our industry to operate such a scheme). Look for this logo on your organisation's website or brochure. You can read more about our approval scheme here. The long and the short of it is that we only approve companies we would use ourselves.
All the companies featured on this site have been approved by us.

Remember, the vast majority of organisations that offer voluntary work abroad are reputable, and do some amazing work around the world.
